Logo Sketches & Typeface
To reflect the modern style the museum wanted, we decided to go with a modular typeface for the museum’s logo to really solidify its position as a professional art gallery. It was decided that it would be best to use different color combinations from various Latin countries of the world to reflect the cultural content of the museum’s displayed art and involved artists. The secondary type is Century Gothic, which was used for the headline.
Logo Variations & Color
To start narrowing down how exactly the museum’s logo and color palette was going to be, I began to conduct research. We took into account what the museum's goals and mission statements are, its geographical location, and the demographic of the people around and the artists who have their art displayed within the museum.
Merchandise
Merchandise and souvenirs that can be sold incorporating the new brand design.
Result
In the end, their new brand identity was used for their products. They now had souvenir designs as well that matched with their new brand identity. Along with this, we designed promotional posters incorporating the new logo which resulted in an increase in attendance for their next art exhibition.
